This November (2023), General Manager Chang Cher-shuo and Deputy General Manager Chou Ho-ting visited the housing construction site in Chiayi twice times witnessing the birth of a "home" from nothing to something with the Formosa Charity Group.

General Manager Chang specially took time to visit the Formosa Charity Group housing construction site in Chiayi. Total of 70 volunteers participated in the construction, everyone turned their expertise into practical action, personally building a shelter for disadvantaged families.
Chairman Huang and Director Chang accompanied and guided the visit, introducing General Manager Chang to the background and implementation of the construction. From the originally empty land to the gradually taking shape of the house frame, every step of the process embodied the volunteers' hard work and kindness. General Manager Chang said that standing on the site and seeing a home grow from the land was a deeply moving moment.
Chairman Huang also expressed his sincere gratitude to Ta Tung aluminium, thanking the company for its years of donations of ventilation doors, which have not only made the newly built house habitable but also safe and comfortable, truly completing the vision of a home.

On November 15th, Deputy General Manager of Ta Tung aluminium represented the company at the handover ceremony, joining Chairman Huang of the Formosa Charity Group to officially hand over the new home to the recipient, Ms. Xiao.
As the door gently opened, it symbolized the beginning of a new life. Ms. Xiao was moved to tears at the scene, saying that she had never imagined she could have a home of her own, a place to shelter from the wind and rain, a place where she could feel safe as her deepest wish.
This wish, thanks to the hands of volunteers, the support of Ta Tung aluminium, and the kindness of countless people, was finally gently fulfilled.
