The door type is classified according to its opening direction. If the door swings inward, it is called an inward-opening door, if it swings outward, it is called an outward-opening door. Both inward and outward-opening doors can further be divided into left-hand and right-hand openings.Taking inward opening as an example: If you stand inside facing outside, and the door opens inward, the direction it opens to your left is called inward left, and the direction it opens to your right is called inward right.
Taking outward opening as an example: If you stand outside facing inside, and the door opens outward, the direction it opens to your left is called outward left, and the direction it opens to your right is called outward right.
